Websites and software that keep Sudanese businesses reachable
Many Sudanese businesses are restarting, relocating or serving customers spread across several cities and countries. Groow builds Arabic and English websites and lightweight software that keep you reachable and organised, working remotely and within what payment rails and sanctions rules allow.
Where we focus
Bilingual websites
Arabic and English websites with right-to-left layouts, clear services and up-to-date locations and contact details, so customers and partners can always reach you.
Lightweight builds
Small page sizes, compressed images and minimal scripts so key pages load on weak or interrupted mobile connections and on the older Android phones many people use.
Operations software
Simple tools for orders, stock, projects and records that replace scattered spreadsheets, with offline-tolerant forms and data that syncs when the network returns.
Search visibility
Google Business Profile updates, service pages in Arabic and English and accurate locations, so people searching for your business find where you operate now.
Brand and visual design
Identities and templates that work in Arabic and English, for businesses relaunching, opening new branches or presenting themselves to partners and funders.
Practical automation
WhatsApp enquiry routing, payment confirmations matched to bank-app transfers and simple reporting that saves time, deployed with clear human review.
Working in a changed landscape
Since 2023, many businesses have moved, split their teams or served customers and partners from new locations, including Port Sudan and cities abroad. Others are reopening in Khartoum. In that situation, a clear website and simple tools help customers, staff and partners know where you are, what you offer and how to reach you.
We keep projects practical and proportionate: a credible bilingual website, an up-to-date contact and location page, and software that replaces scattered spreadsheets and chat threads with something your team can rely on.
How Sudanese customers search and pay
Discovery is mobile-first, through Facebook, WhatsApp and Google, often in Arabic. Many customers already pay with banking apps such as Bankak and O-Cash, so we design payment and confirmation steps around transfers to your account, with clear references and easy reconciliation in Sudanese pounds.
Connections can be slow or interrupted, so we build light pages, forms that save progress and messages that still go through when the network returns.
Execution notes
All work is remote and subject to what payment rails and international sanctions rules allow; we agree a lawful payment route before any project starts. Sudan does not yet have a dedicated data protection law, so we apply sound practice by default: collect only what you need, protect it and keep access limited.
Local execution
Payments
Flows designed around bank-app transfers such as Bankak and O-Cash, priced in Sudanese pounds (SDG), with clear references so payments are easy to match.
Arabic and RTL
Arabic interfaces are designed right-to-left from the start, with tested fonts and mirrored layouts, and English versions for partners and international audiences.
Remote, within the rules
All work is remote, and how we invoice and get paid is agreed upfront, within what payment rails and international sanctions rules allow for both sides.

Questions, answered
Can you work with us if our team is spread across cities or countries?
Yes. All our work is remote. Discovery, reviews and handover happen over video calls, email and WhatsApp, at times that suit your team.
Will the website work on poor connections?
That is a core requirement. We keep pages light, test on older Android phones and design forms that save progress so an interrupted connection does not lose an enquiry.
How do payments to Groow work?
We agree a payment route before starting, in line with what banks, payment providers and international sanctions rules allow. If no lawful route is available, we will say so plainly.
