Product Design
We design digital products people understand on first use and keep coming back to. Research, UX, interface design and testing that reduce risk before engineering begins.
Product design that makes complex things feel simple
Good product design is invisible to users and obvious in the results: fewer support questions, faster onboarding, more people completing the task they came to do. We design with evidence and test with real users.
Product discovery
Defining the problem, the users and the core workflows before committing to features.
User research
Interviews, observation and testing with the people who will actually use the product.
UX and interface design
Flows, wireframes and polished UI designed for clarity, speed and accessibility.
Mobile app design
iOS and Android app experiences designed for one-handed use, variable connectivity and real-world contexts.
SaaS and dashboard UX
Data-heavy interfaces, roles and permissions, and onboarding designed for busy professionals.
Design systems
Reusable components and rules that keep the product consistent and speed up future development.

Why product design reduces risk
Changing a prototype takes hours. Changing a product that has already been built can take weeks. Product design is where you find out whether people understand your idea, can complete the key tasks and see enough value to return, while those answers are still inexpensive to act on.
We start with discovery: who the users are, what they are trying to get done and where current tools let them down. That work shapes a focused set of flows, which we turn into wireframes and then clickable prototypes that real users can try.
The outcome is a product specification engineers can build from with confidence, and far fewer surprises after launch.
Designing for how people actually work
Users in different markets and industries have very different habits. A field sales team may use an app on a mid-range Android phone with patchy coverage. An accountant may live in a dense dashboard all day. A customer may expect to pay with mobile money and receive confirmation on WhatsApp. We design around these realities rather than a generic user.
That can mean offline-tolerant flows, lightweight screens, clear status messages, support for several languages, or simplified interfaces for occasional users alongside powerful ones for daily users.
Design systems that scale with the product
As a product grows, inconsistency creeps in: slightly different buttons, forms and patterns on every screen. A design system prevents that by defining shared components, spacing, typography and behaviour, documented for designers and developers alike.
We build design systems in step with your codebase, so new features are faster to design and build, and the product feels coherent however many people are working on it.
Our process
01Discover and define
Research to define users, goals and success measures, then user journeys, information architecture and a scope for the first release.
02Design and test
Wireframes, high-fidelity UI and interactive prototypes for the key flows, tested with real users and refined where they struggled.
03Hand over and support
A documented design system and specifications, with our designers available to support engineering through to launch.

Questions, answered
What is the difference between UX and UI design?
UX design covers how the product works: flows, structure and whether people can complete their tasks. UI design covers how it looks and feels on screen. We do both, as one continuous process.
Can you redesign an existing product?
Yes. We usually start with a UX audit and some user research to find the biggest problems, then redesign in phases so your team can ship improvements without a risky big-bang relaunch.
Do you design mobile apps as well as web apps?
Yes. We design native iOS and Android apps, cross-platform apps and web applications, following each platform’s conventions where it helps users.
How do you run user testing?
We recruit participants who match your users, give them realistic tasks on a prototype or live product and observe where they succeed or struggle. Sessions can be in person or remote, and in the languages your users speak.
Can your designs be built by our own developers?
Yes. We provide organised design files, a component library, specifications and walkthroughs, and remain available for questions during development.
